5 NOV 1889 - Born in Lone Star, Morris, TX to John Wesley Gray, who was 20 and Sarah “Sallie” Sanderson Gray who was 17. She was the first of eight children.

16 FEB 1893 - Birth of sister, Rosa “Rosie” [TX].


28 AUG 1895 - Birth of sister, Johnie Ida [TX].
