John’s 2nd great-grandfather, Richard Luke Jasper Pannell, would have been 169 today.


4 DEC 1853 - Born in Monroe, Walton, GA to William Jackson Pannell, age 35 and Emily Panthea Humphrey Pannell, age 26. He was the fourth of nine children. Mary Ann, William “Green” and Margret Adaline were born before him.


2 JUN 1856 - Birth of sister, Lucinda “Lucy” E. D. [GA].


1860 - Residence -  Post office: Arkadelphia, Greenville, Clark, AR.



ABT 1860 - Birth of sister, Sarah Clementine. [AR].


4 DEC 1862 - Birth of sister, Georgia A. [Clark County, AR].


27 JAN 1865 - Birth of sister, Juliette [Arkadelphia, Clark, AR].


ABT 1870 - Birth of sister, Matilda Lee [AR].


1870 - Residence - Post office: Arkadelphia, Caddo, Clark, AR.



1880 - Residence - Alpine, Clark, AR.



3 DEC 1882 - Married Nancy Robenia Robertson when she was 16 and he was 28 in Clark, AR.


The children listed are the ones I’ve found on the census and on Findagrave.com. The 1900 census said that she had six living children out of ten and the 1910 census reported that she had seven living children out thirteen.


6 MAY 1885 - Birth of son, Lemuel Mack  [Alpine, Clark, AR]. This was John’s paternal great-grandfather.


23 FEB 1887 - Birth of daughter, Millie Ola [AR].


5 JUN 1888 - Death of father, William Jackson, at the age of 70 [Alpine, Clark, AR].


5 NOV 1889 - Birth of daughter, Arenia Margaret [Alpine, Clark, AR].


8 JAN 1891 - Death of sister, Lucinda “Lucy” E. D. [Alpine, Clark, AR].


OCT 1893 - Birth of son, Latamore [Alpine, Clark, AR]. He is listed on the 1900 census but not after that. I haven’t been able to find any other information on him.


11 SEP 1896 - Birth of son, William Robertson [AR]. 


28 DEC 1897 - Death of mother, Emily, at the age of 70 [Horatio, Sevier, AR].


1898 - Death of sister, Sarah Clementine [AR].


8 SEP 1899 - Birth of daughter, Jalie Sevella [Alpine, Clark, AR].


1900 - Residence - Alpine, Clark, AR. In this census it says that Nancy had given birth to 10 children and that six were living at that time. 

 


6 JUN 1903 - Birth of daughter, Jettie Emmer [AR].


27 APR 1904 - Death of sister, Margaret Adaline [Red River County, TX].


8 NOV 1909 - Birth of son, Raymond Lafayette “Fay” [Temple, Cotton, OK]. 


1910 - Residence - Texas, Comanche, OK. On this census it says that they had 13 children and seven were living at the time. 



30 JUN 1915 - Death of sister, Georgia A. [Pecan Gap, Delta, TX].


1920 - Residence - Devol, Cotton, OK.



1929 - Death of sister, Matilda Lee [Sevier County, AR].


1930 - Residence - Devol, Cotton, OK.



20 FEB 1933 - Passed away at the age of 79 from a post operative illness. [Wichita Falls, Wichita, TX]. They had been married 50 years.
