John’s paternal great-grandmother, Clara Ann Tacker Little, would have been 153 today.


15 DEC 1869 - Born in Limestone County, TX to Wesley Summerfield Tacker and Sarah Helon Justice Tacker. Both were 28 years of age. She was the first of three children.

16 JUL 1877 - Birth of sister, Infant [Freestone County, TX].


6 DEC 1877 - Death of father, Wesley Summerfield, at the age of 36. [Limestone County, TX].

10 DEC 1887 - Married Granberry Harrison Little when he was 24 and she was 17 [TX].


10 DEC 1888 - Birth of son, John Wesley [Personville, Limestone, TX].


25 DEC 1891 - Birth of daughter, Prudie Helen [Freestone County, TX].


26 JUN 1893 - Birth of son, Arvin E. [Limestone, TX].


22 JAN 1897 - Birth of son, Emmet William [Limestone, TX].

19 APR 1946 - Death of husband, Granberry Harrison, in Palestine, Anderson, TX, at the age of 82. They had been married 58 years.


1950 - Residence - Anderson County, TX.



23 JUN 1953 - Death of son, John Wesley [Corpus Christi, Nueces, TX].


29 JUN 1954 - Passed away at the age of 84 from generalized arterial sclerosis, hypertension, cerebral vascular accident mild and senile cerebral sclerosis in Houston, Harris, TX.



Burial - Oakes Cemetery, Limestone County, TX.
