Today John’s 2nd paternal great-grandmother, Nancy Robenia Robertson Pannell, would have been 140. 


17 JUL 1882 - Born in Cherokee, AL, her father, Thomas, was 37 and her mother, Rebecca, was 25. She was the second of nine children. She had an older brother, William James born in 1861.


9 NOV 1869 - Birth of sister, Dulcenia [AR].


1870 - Residence - Post office: Arkadelphia, Alpine, Clark, AR.



21 AUG 1871 - Birth of sister, Mary [AR].


18 JAN 1873 - Death of sister, Mary [Alpine, Clark, AR].


18 MAR 1873 - Birth of sister, Eugenia [AR].


24 AUG 1875 - Birth of brother, Charlie Newton [Alpine, Clark, AR].


9 NOV 1877 - Birth of brother, Robert Lee [Clark, AR].


29 NOV 1879 - Birth of sister, Clarentine [Alpine, Clark, AR].


1880 - Residence - Alpine, Clark, AR.



3 DEC 1882 - Married Richard Luke Jasper Pannell when she was 16 and he was 28 in Clark, AR.


25 SEP 1884 - Birth of sister, Virginia Belle [Alpine, Clark, AR].

6 MAY 1885 - Birth of son, Lemuel Mack  [Alpine, Clark, AR]. This was John’s paternal great-grandfather.


23 FEB 1887 - Birth of daughter, Millie Ola [AR].


5 NOV 1889 - Birth of daughter, Arenia Margaret [Alpine, Clark, AR].


OCT 1893 - Birth of son, Latamore [Alpine, Clark, AR]. He is listed on the 1900 census but not after that. I haven’t been able to find any other information on him.


11 SEP 1896 - Birth of son, William Robertson [AR]. 


8 SEP 1899 - Birth of daughter, Jalie Sevella [Alpine, Clark, AR].


1900 - Residence - Alpine, Clark, AR. In this census it says that Nancy had given birth to 10 children and that six were living at that time.  



6 JUN 1903 - Birth of daughter, Jettie Emmer [AR].


8 NOV 1909 - Birth of son, Raymond Lafayette “Fay” [Temple, Cotton, OK]. 


3 JUL 1910 - Death of mother, Rebecca Ann, at the age of 69 [Alpine, Clark, AR].


1910 - Residence - Texas, Comanche, OK. On this census it says that they had 13 children and seven were living at the time. 



24 AUG 1915 - Death of father, Thomas Oliver, at the age of 86 [Alpine, Clark, AR].


1920 - Residence - Devol, Cotton, OK.



1930 - Residence - Devol, Cotton, OK.



16 JUN 1932 - Death of brother, Robert Lee [Clark, AR].


20 FEB 1933 - Death of husband, Richard Luke Jasper, at the age of 79 from a post operative illness. [Wichita Falls, Wichita, TX]. They had been married 50 years.


9 JUN 1933 - Passed away at the age of 66 [Homeplace, Cotton, OK].


Burial - Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery, Burkburnett, Wichita County, TX.
