Welcome to the Little-Owens Ancestry Blog
January 1, 2022
Ever since the global pandemic started in March of 2020, I've had some extra time on my hands since I happen to quit my job of over 20 years three days before we all went on lockdown.👀 Over the next few months I started to really get into discovering my ancestors and those of my husband.
I thought starting this blog would be a good way to share what I've found with other family members, especially my daughters, nephews, nieces and other family members and maybe get more information in return. One of my nephews said he was glad I was doing all of this so he wouldn't have to. 😁 I am hoping to introduce a new family member on their birthday.
The information to follow is as factual as possible but if you find a discrepancy please let me know and show me the proof of the facts to validate your claims. I’m also using emojis in my tree on Ancestry (Little Owens Family Tree) to help visualize different ancestral lines or to mark my brick walls in my tree. This also helps alert others who are viewing my tree about warnings, notes, confirmations, or unverified ancestors. A legend for the emojis is below.
I think it would be neat to add comments/stories of the person as well so please feel free to do so. I have uncovered quite a bit of shocking information. Please know I do not intend to slander anyone but report the facts as I uncover them.
I hope you enjoy learning more about those who came before us.
